Introduction
COVER FLUX-5 is extremely effective exothermic powder which gives metal free dross. Proper use of COVER FLUX-5 reduces metal loss in aluminium and it’s alloys. It is mainly used as dross refining agent.
Description :
COVER FLUX-5 is available in a white powder form.
Quality To Be Use :
500 grams to 1000 grams ( 1 Kg ) per 100 kg. of melt.
Method Of Use :
When the melt is ready sprinkle Cover Flux 11 on the surface of the melt and rabble it.
When dross accumulates on the surface of the melt add requisite amount of Cover Flux-5 on the dross. This will separate metal from the dross and will give dross free metal.
Then remove dross from the surface.
It can also be used extensively to melt 100 % scrap in furnace or crucibles.

Precautions :
CKCO FLUXES should not be allowed to be exposed to the atmosphere when not in use.
