Introduction :
Refractory Coat is a water base coating especially for aluminium extrusion plants.
Application :
It is used as a launder coating and as a hot-top sealing compound.
It is mixed with French chalk powder and applied on the gap between hot top and water cooled mould.

Advantages :
Prevents sticking of molten aluminium to mould. Provides Excellent sealing to mould and hot top.
How To Use :
Clean the mould / die / tool. Remove dust, oil and rust.
Stir it thoroughly before use.
Again before casting clean the surface to obtain non-sticky continuous metal flow.
Allow it to dry for few minutes.

Precautions :
This coating is not dangerous to skin but hand gloves should be use while handling and using it.
Hands should be washed after use.
