Introduction :
Punching Tablet to give better surface finish in aluminium.
Description :
Punching Tablet is a pink colored tablet.
Quantity To Be Use :
100 grams per 100kg MELT.
Preheat Furnace OR Crucibles to redhot condition.
Charge in ingot and scrap.
As soon as the charge reaches a pasty from, sprinkle Cover Flux – 11 over its surface to form a cover.
Add remainder of charge and melt rapidly.
Add required amount of Punching Tablet when melt is in thick pasty form.
Do not permit metal temp. to exceed above 750° C. But there Should be sufficient heat in the Crucible to keep the temp of the melt from falling and during this period the melt should be degassed with Degasser 22 & grain refined with Grain Refiner 21.
Hold tablet at the bottom of the melt duly coated with a bell type plunger. The bubbling action will cease after 4 minutes.
Remove the plunger from the melt and sprinkle a quantity of Cover Flux - 5 on the surface of the melt and rabble the flux layer into the melt to obtain a red glowing dross free from metal.

Precautions :
CKCO FLUXES should not be allowed to be exposed to the atmosphere when not in use.
Use hand gloves while handling and using fluxes.
Packing :
5 Tablets of 100 gms. are rolled in moisture proof aluminium foil and further packed 25 Kgs. Paper Carton.
